Overall. Books and Film/Music gradually gained more attention meanwhile Clothes and Travel experienced a reverse trend.
In the year of 2003, Film/Music accounted for 21%, taking the third rank, which was followed by a remarkable increase by 12% over 5 years, becoming the leading position at 33%. In similarity, Books climbed by 3% from 19% in 2003 to 22% in 2013 (third place in this year).
There was a significant drop in the favorite level of Travel when the figure of this declined noticeably from 36% in 2003 to 29% in 2013, falling out of the king's throne. The same pattern was witnessed in its counterpart of Clothes with a drop of 8% to the lowest number of 16% at the end of the survey period.
In conclusion, people gradually showed more preference in home recreation than wandering outside.
