The line graph compares the figure for visitors to three different museums in London from June to September in 2013. From the general perspective, various trends in the number of visitors could be observed, including a growth in the British Museum and the Science Museum, a reduction in the Natural History Museum.
In June, the British Museum was the highest of the number of visitors, followed by the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. From June to August, the British Museum's number of visitors witnessed a huge rise from 600 thousand visitors in June to around 750 thousand visitors in July, then this figure declined significantly by roundly 250 thousand visitors. Meanwhile, the figure for visitors in the Science Museum reduced considerably from 400 thousand visitors to 300 thousand visitors. Similarly, the Natural History Museum's number of visitors experienced a remarkable decrease from 550 thousand visitors to under 400 thousand visitors, but after that, this figure was unchanged from July to August.
Between August and September, the British Museum's number of visitors saw a substantial increase, in which the number went up to 650 thousand visitors, it continued at the top of the number of visitors per month to compare with the others. Lastly, at the end of the period, the Science Museum's and the Natural History Museum's number of visitors grew sharply to 450 and 460 thousand visitors respectively.
