It is clear that hamburgers were by far the most important means of consumption over the period shown,whereas the fish and chips declined over the period.
In 1975, fish and chips were the most important food that were being eaten 100 times a year. This was far higher than pizza and hamburgers, which were eaten well under 20 times a year. However, apart from brief rise from 1980 to 1985, the consumption of fish and chips were started to decline over the rest of the period to finish at just under 40.
Between 1975 to 2000, the consumption of pizza and hamburgers rose dramatically to a peak of 100 times a year, whereas the fish and chips were declining gradually to reach a figure of just under 40 times a year.
