The line graph below shows the number of annual visits to Australia by overseas residents. The table below gives information on the country of origin where the visitors came from. Write the report for a university lecture describing the information given.

The given line diagram and tabular data illustrate the number of international visitors visit to Australia from different countries between 1975 and 2005.

First of all, line diagram shows the upward trend over the given period. In 1975, around 9 million of visitors visited to Australia and then this number was increasing gradually and reached 31 million of people visited to Australia by 2005.

The tabular data represents the number of overseas residents came from different countries in Australia in the year of 1975 and 2005. In 1975, least number of people went to the Australia from China and USA which was 0.3 and 0.4 million people respectively. At the same time, 0.9 million Britisher went to the Australia followed by European people which was 1.1 million. Interestingly, in 2005, more than 7 million visitors interested to visit Australia by South Korean as well as more than 4 times Japanese tourist visited to Australia.

Overall, the number of visitors are increasing to visit Australia over the three decades. However, the number of chines and American visitors are less to visit Australia among others given country.
