The figure of showed news at 9:30 p.m rose slightly to 3.8 million, followed by a dramatic decrease to 1 million in August. After taking a nosedive, the watchers of news at 9:30 p.m enjoyed a sudden jump to around 2.5 million and continued growing marginally to 3 million over the year. Meanwhile, the spectators of news channel started the year with a significant fall from nearly 5 million to 4 million. While the figures fluctuated wildly, it touched the lowest point to approximately 3.5 million in August. Thereafter, it increased gradually one month and declined in December.
The numbers of news watchers stayed roughly the same around 1.2 million from the beginning of year to October and went up negligibly over the period. The other news channel which created in May got quick popularity over the viewers and rocketed from none to 4 million in August. Then, new channel experienced a considerable decline to 1 million in the end of the year.
