The maps present changes that had taken place in Harborne town from 1936 to 2007.
Overall, the residential area had dramatically increased, while the infrastructure of the city was also markedly improved.
The most noticeable change was the addition of residencies to the right of the river in the northeast of the city. The southeast part of Harborne had been completely changed by converting the government offices into a museum and the farmland into a golf course. In addition, the cycle path, which ran from south to west, had been developed into a road, while additional two trees had been planted in the northwest of the town.
In terms of the city center, the post office, bank, and library remained unchanged over the period, while the sweet shop and butchers replaced with a super market and the flower shop had been converted to a travel agent. Furthermore, a large super-market had been constructed in the middle of the above amenities. However, all 4 roads, which connected the city center to the outskirt, had not been changed.
