The maps elucidate the alterations which happened in Youngsville in New Zealand between 1980 and 2005. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the number of green areas which have been changes by several facilities in the town.
To begin with the south of the city, the existences of factories, skyscrapers and warehouse has replaced the position of several plants and houses in 1980. To the east of the skyscrapers, there was a new railway line which had been constructed in which it connected to the north of the town.
In accordance with the other alterations, the presence of new stadium and parking area, which were located in the north beside the new railway line, changed the place of several houses in previous time. 1980 to 2005, furthermore, witnessed a dramatic modification for the size of the green areas where it had been varied by a new park, and a new parking area in 2005. In contrast, the position of the airport, school, parking area, which were located in the south of the town, and hospital, which was placed in the north of the city, remained unchanged over the entire period.
