A glance at the two maps provided reveals some changes in the village for the period of 80 years in Stokeford.
It is noticeable that the number of houses was increased during 80 years while many farmland was dramatically decreased.
In 1930, there were a few houses in the centre of the village, the farmland were situated in the north-east and south-west corner at the same time but those were totally removed and replaced by accommodation surrounding the main road in 2010. The two shops in the middle of the small town were also demolished to make way for hoses while the post office still remained.
Moreover, from 1930 to 2010, the local primary school in the north-east area was extended with two additionally blocks. The garden in the south-east was disappeared for the extension of the road and new houses around the street. Meanwhile, the large house in the garden area was enlarged and converted to the retirement home
