The two diagrams give information about the differences of Shalton village in 1910 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the village changed considerably with the development of a number of accommodations in the central and the right-hand areas of the village. By contrast, many services were built in the left-hand area over the time period.
As can be seen from the graphs, a lot of houses were developed on London Road and High Street, and the Bakery gave way to a house. In addition, the Large House in the central area was also replaced completely by some houses, and London Road was established a branch to lead people to these houses. However, the Post Office on London Road and the Café on High Street remained unchanged through a hundred year.
There are also several differences on School Road in 1910 and 2010. The school remained unchanged, but the Butchers and the house were demolished and make room for Parking and Bank, respectively. Finally, Supermarket was constructed at the top of Parking.
