As can be seen, In this initial period(1995), The number of visitors in Dubai was 48 thousand then it touched the rock bottom, amounting to 45 thousand in the year 1996. The quantity of travellers had declined to 160 thousand by 1999, after reaching the gradual increase of 170 thousand in 1997. In spite of an increase of 90 thousand reaching 350 in 2000, the rate of tourist in Dubai had dropped to 310 thousand by 2002. In the final year (2003) the total of holidaymakers reached the zenith of 400 thousand.
On the other hand, in the case of Malaysia reached the nadir accounting for 100 thousand in 1995. Then it had a dramatical increase from 1996 to 2001, after the rate of tourist reached the pinnacle, amounting to 320 thousand in 2001. The quantity of trippers in Malaysia had plummeted to 240 thousand in 2003 after touching 280 thousand in 2002.
Over all it is cristal clear from the diagram the rate of tourist visited in Dubai is higher than Malaysia. In the initial stage Malaysia had more visitor compare with Dubai.
