The two pie chart proposed represent online sales in New Zealand in 2003 and 2013. Travel, film/music, books and clothes are the retail sectors analysed.
Percentiles did not change much, but some differences in all sectors can be found.
Indeed, both online sales of books (in grey), film and music (represented in light grey in the charts) grew: books from 19 percent in 2003, reached 22 percent in 2013 and films, together with music, got to 33 percent starting from 21 percent of all online sales, taking more than one quarter of them.
Different story applies to travel (painted black) and cloths (white) sales: they both decreased. Together sales of clothes and travels made more than half the total in 2003. But in 2013 clothes dropped from 24 percent to 16 percent and travels from 36 to 29 thus bringing film/music and books to conquer the majority of the pie chart.
These differences are presented in the charts. Those let us see how interest in online shopping products had changed between 2003 and 2013 in New Zealand.
