The given pie charts illustrate why people moved in and out of the UK in the year 2007.

Overall, it is clear that the majority of both immigrants and emigrants to the UK were due to Definite job. Also of particular note is that the disparity in the percentage of immigrants and emigrants to the UK was obvious in Formal study term.

As can be seen from the charts, Definite job was the most important reason among both immigrants and emigrants, which amounted to 30% and 29% respectively. Additionally, the percentage of immigrants to the UK for Accompany was 15%, which was higher than that of emigrants (13%). In contrast, 14% emigrants moved out of the UK for other reasons, and the figure for immigrants was lower, at 11%.

While the reason Formal study constituted the second greatest percentage of immigrants to the UK (26%), the opposite was true for that of emigrants, which just made up 4%. In the meantime, 22% people moved out of the UK to look for work, in comparison with 12% those who moved in. Similarly, the percentage of No reason stated emigrants was 18%, which was 3 times as much as that of immigrants.
