The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagrams illustrate the description of a sports centre in one university in present and how it will change after redevelopment in the future.
Overall, this centre will undergo a dramatic transformation over the period by replacing certain facilities with others; and the centre part will stay the same in this sports centre.
As can be seen from the first diagram, there are two outdoor courts which are situated in the West and East of the centre. Also, after passing the reception, there is a swimming pool whose lengths are 25m, which is surrounded by a changing room, a gymnastic, and a seating in the West, North, and East respectively.
Regarding some changes in the future, the two outdoor courts will be removed and this sports centre is enlarged. Firstly, a leisure pool will be constructed in the West of the changing room, and a sports hall and two dance studios will be built next to the seating. Secondly, the gym will be expanded to the East. Lastly, there will be two other changing rooms, which will be built on the West and East side of the reception, will be located by a sports shop and a café respectively.
