The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates the layout of an airport in present time and its appearance after renovation in the coming year.

According to the plan, currently there is one gate for departure and arrivals. There are 8 gates and a walkway for passengers, after crossing the passport control customs station. On completing the security passport control check travelers will find a coffee shop on one side while the check-in counter on the opposite side.

However, in the upgraded version, several new additions will be made. There will be 2 gates for entry and exit of passengers. Before the passport control customs station a coffee shop will be added along with an ATM booth and a car hire service around the corner of the booth. In addition, the number of gates will be increased from 8 to 18 and the walkway will be replaced by sky train. In the area between the sky train and security passport control, several shops will be created so that the travelers can do some shopping while waiting at the airport. Furthermore, the coffee shop and check-in counter will swap places so that the remaining space on the side of the coffee shop can be used for bag drops.
