The plans depict a range of modernization made to the layout of Ashford from 2010 until the present day.
Overall, the town has witnessed significant changes, prominent of which is the accommodation of new housing establishments as well as the cultivation of the ecosystem.
As per the diagram, an apartment complex has been erected adjacent to Tam River. Additionally, it is noticeable that the smaller housing units scattering around the residential area have also increased in number with two new blocks constructed in front of those formerly built near the lane. Another development worth mentioning is the construction of the bridge connecting the east and west areas of the town. To specify, in 2010, there used to be two quays built for ferry commuters to cross the river. Nevertheless, in present days, this has been replaced by a new bridge.
In addition, to the southern part of the area, a new yacht marina has been built, aligning itself with the eastern land of Ashford. In opposite location to the aforementioned marina is the plantation of new trees as well as a small pond. The trees on the other side of the road, however, have been left untouched throughout the time.
