The table below gives information about the average annual spending of university students in 3 different countries
The table compares the average expenditure of college pupils among 3 different countries namely A, B and C.
Overall, the amount of money which country A’s young people spent accounted for the largest part in total spending among 3 countries. In addition, students in all countries spent the highest proportion of their budget for accommodation and food.
In term of accommodation, the percentage of an average yearly expenses of young people in country A was highest, at 45%; followed by that in country B and C, at 35% and 3% respectively. By contrast, students in country C spent more in food, which accounted 36% in total spending. The figures for country A and B were 22% and 28% respectively. There was the similar proportion of spending in leisure between A and B, at 22% and 28%; where as the figure for C was lower considerably; just 12%. 21% of total spending of university students in country C was for books, compared to 9% of A and 3% of B. Students in all countries spent lowest proportion on others, which accounted for 8%, 5% and 1% of their yearly expenses.
