The table describe the data about underground railway systems in six different nations(London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles). The first underground railway was introduced in London while the latest railway development has been occurred in Los Angeles. Japan's Tokyo underground station remained the busiest underground station among these nations.
In 1863, London opened is underground railway connectivity with the longest route of 294 km and around 775 million passengers commute through this means yearly. Paris introduced their railway system in year 1900 and they have built the second largest route of 199 km and yearly 1191 people travel through this station. Much needed underground railway connecting came to Tokyo in year in year 1927 and they have constructed the 155 km railway route and 1927 million people travel using this railway route yearly. Moreover, this is the busiest railway route among all the nations.
Later in 1976, underground railway route of 126 km was created in Washington DC and yearly 144 million passenger travel through this route. The smallest railway route of 11 km was opened in Kyoto in 1981 and nearly 45 million citizens use this means of transport. Latest among the mentioned countries, Los Angeles underground station opened their 28 km railway route in 2001 and they have rush of 50 million passengers on yearly basis.
