The table represents the outcomes of a 20 year survey of adults and their reasons to participate in arts events in their country UK. This report will evaluate the data given.
Overall, the need to see specific performer or celebrity was the main reason behind the attraction of many people in these events. The least reason was attending arts competition for business related works.
The percentage of people who attended the arts to see their specific artist had only fluctuated from 58% to 56% throughout the 20 year period. However, people who accompanied their children in these events increased from 9% to 24% being the second major reason for participating in arts events.
In terms of work/business reasons, only 6% of the people attended the events with this reason 20 years ago which later rised to high of 11%. Surprisingly, for the people who attended arts events to celebrate special occasions declined from 27% to 9% through the 20 year period.
