The chart represents the weight assessment of people of Charlestown in the year 1995 and 2015. This report will evaluate the data given.
Overall, people from the age 20 to 25 were mostly underweight or ideal during both the given time period. Furthermore, obese people were the least in the past whereas it became a major weight issue for the people in the last given year.
In both the years, 70% of the young people had ideal body weight. For the people age 30-39, the percentage of overweight issue increase from 20% to around 45%. Similarly, people of this age category were also seen having obese body weight in 2015 which was 10%.
On the other hand, 60% of people with ideal body weight over the age 40 declined due to the rise of obese people from 5% to around 25% in 2015. Likewise, people with obese body weight also increased dramatically to a high of 50% among the 50-59 age category. It can also be seen that almost 60% of the people over the age 60 had obesity in 2015 whereas more that 80% of the same people maintained a healthy weight during the year 1995.
