As far as electricity is concerned, its consumption is quite stable in French and Japanese hospitals throughout the week, fluctuating around 32 and 18mw accordingly, In the meantime, in Canada and Russia, energy usage increases towards the end of the week, rising by 10-12 mw. Argentina, however, demonstrates the opposite trend with a decline in power use by roughly half.
There is a similar pattern in the number of emergency calls in both France and Japan , which fluctuates over the week, comprising 110 and 95 calls on average respectively, while a considerable increase in the number of calls distinguishes Canadian hospitals to rise by roughly half, from 105 on Monday to just over 160 on Sunday, with the figure in Russia demonstrating a similar growth to 110 calls by the weekend. Argentina is again the exception, with a slight decrease from 30 to 18 calls.
In contrast, time devoted to patient assessment is fairly stable in all countries, except Russia, where a marked rise from 12 minutes on Monday to 28 minutes on Sunday can be seen.
Overall, a clear correlation can be seen between electricity consumption and the number of calls made. In addition to this, only in Russia does assessment time increase by the same pattern.
