Overall, throughout 2011 until 2016, the revenue kept raising and complementary medicine gave 14.3 billion US dollars as 2016 revenue, which known as the highest amount.
In 1985, only around 2% of hospitals used complementary medicine. The percentage measurement increased steadly until 2000, with more than 10% of hospitals. Then, the percentage rose rapidly to exactly 30% in 2005. Extreme raise of percentage kept continue after 5 years, make it the year with highest amount of hospitals, which was 40%.
Then, the medicine was being classified into 9 different types. Among all of those, natural products were the most popular one with nearly 18%, followed with deep breathing and yoga, which had similar measurement ( just above 10% and exactly 10% respectively ). Chiropractic, meditation, and massage came in between of the most popular and least one.
