The given table data illustrates the information regarding the development of world population from 1950 to 2000 and projected populations to 2050, in six different continent of the world.

A glance at the figure reveals that an overwhelming majority of people was recorded for the Asia than its others counterparts and the overall population growth is predicted to decline slightly in 2050.

As a matter of fact, the ratio of world population growth started from 2.5 billion to 6 billion population from 1950 to 2000 whereas this rise is expected to continuing reaching to 9 billion in 2050. Moreover, Asia hold the first position in terms of human growth in all period, rising form 56 percent of world population in 1950 to 60 percent in 2000. The population growth of this continent is expected to decline by one percent over the half century in the question. Similarly, Africa and Latin America shows an upward trend in terms of overall population growth throughout the period, though the population rise was quite significant in African continent compared to Latin America. Europe and North America on the other hand a decrease pattern in terms of population growth in all period where it has predicted to decline by more than half to Europe and nearly half to North America in comparison to its initial record in 2050.
