The table illustrates the proportion of both genders in all age groups riding bikes in 2011 in a town.
Overall, there was a higher percentage of women than men riding bike from 0 to 60+ age groups. Group from 40 to 59 had the lowest percentage of bikers in both genders.
From 0 to 9 was the group which had the highest number of people rode bicycles in female and male were at 51.3% and 50.3% respectively. There was almost double of women than man moved by bike in 10 to 17 age group.
People from 40 to 59 rode bikes less more than any group in table in both genders, this was the group had the lowest proportion compared to another groups. While the proportion of men rode bicycles declined at around 0.3%, that of women saw the decrease at approximately 5%, from 17,1% to 12,3%. Bikers over 60 year olds in women and men were 18,5% and 13,2% respectively.
