Today more and more people choose ready to eat food rather than cooking themselves. Do this development have more advantages over disadvantages?

Nowadays, the overwhelming majority of people are leaning towards to choose ready to eat food instead of cooking on their own. This essay will examine not only the pros, but also the cons and provide a logical conclusion.
The two significant benefits of the former is that people do not spend a huge amount of time for cooking. All the thing they need is just put a food into a microwave and turn it on. Not only after will the food be prepared, but also it will be tasty. Currently, there are a lot of types of food, which has already could been ready to eat. For instance, in 2017 it was reported in The New York Times, that at the moment we have almost 2000 types of fast cooked meals, which can be prepared faster than in a minute.
However, we also have several drawbacks of this. Firstly, there is no doubt, that people should know how to cooking on their own. This skill will help persons in situations, when they cannot get ready to eat meal. Secondly, it is obvious to say that this type of food can be not only junk or greasy, but also bring several critical diseases. To illustrate this, British scientists has conducted the research a fortnight ago and revealed that three-tenth of people who used to consume ready to eat meal got cancer.
To conclude, taking everything into account all I want to sum up is that the first type of meal are quite unsafe. Moreover, I truly believed, that we should exclude this food or start labeling it at least.
