The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Given are the maps depicting changes of an island under constructing several tourism amenities.
As is visible in the illustration, there was a dramatic development in this mentioned area with a lot of accommodations, buildings, and a pier built to support tourist activities.
At the original version of the island, just few palm trees were planted in the vast space without any construction and to the east of the area was a beach occupying a small part of seacoast surrounding the island with no swimming.
Later on, numerous accommodations were erected on overwhelming acreage of this island, leading to a new reception building and nearby restaurant one in the center. Meanwhile, footpaths were appropriately set up to facilitate commuting between these constructions, also stretching from the center to the beach in the west of the island with the aim of developing swimming activities. Remarkably, there was a new pier built and located to the south of the map in order to boost the accessibility of this tourist land.
