The pie charts show the proportion of contribution to Turkish economy by various sectors in the year 2000 and 2016.

At 24% we can see that agriculture accounted for majority of the contribution to GDP of Turkey in 2000, but this percentage had dropped to 14% by 2016. During the same sixteen year period we can see that rapidly growth in construction sector and it's share in economy went from just 3% to 10%. However, manufacturing sector follow similar tradition as construction sector and gives 12% in 2016. In 2000, trade, utilities and transport boasted on impressive 14% of total contribution, which went to 16% by 2016.

Interestingly, both health or education sector and leisure or hospitality sector give 17% each in 2000, but leisure or hospitality declined to 14% by 2016. In 2000, 5% contribution by finance, business and other sectors, which incline to 8% by 2016 . While, government give 12% contribution to economy in 2000, that fallen to 9% in 2016.
