The following table gives statistics showing the aspects of quality of life in five countries.

The given table shows the standard of living in five major countries by providing data about four economic index in 1982.
Overall, the quality of life in the USA was much higher than the remaning countries.
As is observed, the highest number of GNP per head belonged to the USA, which was 13,160. The ratings for calorie consumption and longevity were also the highest in the USA, at 3653 and 74 respectively while newborn mortality was the lowest. The other countries received a significantly lower welfare. In contrast, Bangladesh had by far the lowest quality of life among selected nations regarding to all indicators. The USA and Bangladesh saw notable difference as the GNP per head of the later, which came in at 140, was one hundred times smaller than the former. Its calorie intake and longevity were twice lower than those of the USA, and infant mortality rate was ten times greater. The living standards in Bolivia, Egypt and Indonesia were roughly the same. Interestingly, Egypt ranked the highest life quality but the infant mortality was slightly higher than Indonesia’s at 97 deaths compared to 87 in Indonesia.
