Below is a map of the city of Brandfield. City planners have decided to build a new shopping mall for the area, and two sites, S1 and S2 have been proposed.

The picture provides a layout of Branfield city and the two proposed site designs, i.e S1 and S2.
Overall, as can be seen from the diagram, the two locations situate in the north and the south of Branfield and are at equal distance from the city centre.
It is clear from the map that both suggested sites have an easy access to a railway and a road, which run from north to south across the middle of the city. In addition, it seems that city planners tend to keep the shopping mall away from the green area on the west side of the city where golf course and parks are located.
To turn to some dissimilarities, a long river that flows across the city centre passes by S1, while S2 is far away from this water source. Furthermore, S1 also appears to be more residential, since it is adjacent to a housing estate, as opposed to S2 which is next to an industrial estate.
