Art is considered an essential part of all cultures throughout the world. However, these days fewer and fewer people appreciate art and turn their focus to science, technology, and business.
Why do you think that is?
What could be done to encourage more people to take an interest in the arts?
Art represents the culture of the country. Nowadays people are reducing their interest in these courses and more interested in other subjects such as maths, management, technology, and science. This essay further explains the reasons and solutions for the same concerns.
There are many reasons behind this, firstly the arts are not encouraged by the Government to providing job opportunities for these people. People doing artwork are the below poverty level. So, people stop choosing the arts as the main subject. Hence, moving to other topics where there are many opportunities and can see their further future. Secondly, they don’t get much money by selling artwork. For example, in India at the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the need to prepare idle of Lord Ganesha will take around 5 to 6 months. Whereas, the artists will receive a very little amount of money which will be not sufficient for daily needs at least. Also, they don’t have the right place to sell things.
there are many solutions but the most preferable is the Government needs to take further actions to give enough support. By adding the Arts as a mandatory subject in education either in primary or secondary schools. By raising more employment in this sector. Conducting the campaigns to explain the values of art and the importance of it in the culture. Need to pass the rules on the price values of artwork done by the artistic. They can help to provide enough space for selling things in each city or village.
To sum up, all together Arts is the representation of our culture. Thus, every individual together with Govt needs to know the worth of it and support the people.
