Businesses should hire employees for their entire lives. Do you agree
or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your
answer.
Some people believe businesses should hire employees for their entire lives while other disagree with this idea. I think that hiring people for their entire life is not good not only for businesses but also for employees. In the following, I will explain my point of view in details.
Hiring people for a long period of time can decrease businesses efficiency. For example, in some businesses, being active and energetic is very essential. The ability and energy of a 20 years old employee is completely different from a 50 years old employee. An old man might not to do his duties as good as a young man. It is obvious that if a business gives the responsibility of some essential tasks to unsuitable employees, after a while the business decreases its efficiency.
In addition, if employees know that their jobs are permanent on condition that they do their duties perfectly, they try to cover all requirements of their jobs. It causes that they always work hard, update themselves and improve their knowledge in order to prove themselves to employers as a high qualified person. I believe that it makes employees more stronger and worthy
In summary, I don’t agree with hiring people for their entire life. Because some businesses are not suitable for all employee’s ages and this can decrease the business efficiency. Also, if employee is guaranteed about his job, he/she probably doesn’t try to improve his ability and develop his/her talents
