You have had a bank account for a few years. Recently you received a letter from the bank stating that your account is $240 overdrawn and that you will be charged $70 which will be taken directly from your account. You know that this information is incorrect.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in response to the letter that I received from the Bank yesterday.
The letter highlights that as I was overdrawn by $240, I will be penalized $ 70. However, I think that it is a misapprehension by the bank as I have not overdrawn any amount.
According to the previous bank statements of 12 months, it is clear that the disbursement of $ 300 monthly instalments for a car loan has already been paid timely. The instalments are automatically deducting from my saving account. However, last month as I had received my bonus, I paid the outstanding amount which I owed. I have also shared the transaction ID:54351258, with the loan department after the whole payment but I have not received any acknowledgement. As a result, I had to pay $300 instalment and the account balance is showing overdrawn in the statement. I have attached the statement of transactions for your reference.
Therefore, I would suggest that if you could reverse the transaction and do not charge any penalty for the mistake done by any of your employees. Hence, I would be grateful if you could return my hard-earned money.
I expect you will give immediate attention to this matter and I am looking forward to receiving your response.
