Dear Dave,
I receiveed your letter recently and sorry that you are having
problem at your workplace. I completely understand your problem with your
supervisor as I was also at same situation few years back.
In my current company, I joined as Junior Analyst in 2012. At that time, my supervisor was
very helpful to me and taught be various aspects of my role. I got promoted to
Senior Analyst position and my supervisor changed. His behaviour toward me was
unethical. His pitch was always high and his behaviour was rude. that is why I
can relate to your problem with your manager.
For my problem, I approached a Human Resource department and initiated a supervisor change request. I declared
all the reason and HR department accepted them. I think you should also reach
out to your Human Resource department and they should be able to help you. Also, my advice will be to discuss with your supervisor's manager personally.
Don't worry too much and you will find a solution soon.
