As you are planning for a holiday and have sought my recommendation for the destination for the proposed vacation. I would suggest you to visit the Koorg valley in Kerala, India. I visited there last year with my family and was mesmerized by its scenic beauty. It has plush green hills and beautiful gardens with an array of flowers all around. The atmosphere there is very calm and peaceful, just apt for rejuvenating our mind and body.
There are different kinds of accommodation available there, depending on the budget of the visitors. I stayed at a villa overlooking the hills which was in a spacious resort. It had all the modern amenities like a independent small kitchen and personal swimming pool along with Wi-Fi connection. One could also order the food from the restaurant of the resort.
Besides this, there was a gym which was free of cost for the tourists. The resort also provided a guided tour to the various other nearby destinations where one could enjoy the beauty of natural waterfalls and other amazing locales. Apart from this, one could enjoy the sky diving at one of the destinations on the way. We could also relish the authentic cuisines of Kerala at all the destinations.
