I work as a Technical Consultant in your company. I am writing to ask if you could allow me a leave for 5 days.
My father has been suffering from some critical health issues from the past few months and yesterday only, he got diagnosed from a major heart problem. I have to take him to hospital for proper checkups and treatment. Also, I won't be able to concentrate on work in such circumstances.
He will be admitted on 21st of August and most probably by 26th of August,Saturday, he will be discharged. I will rejoin from 28th of August. Therefore, it is a matter of 5 days for which I would not be present.
I ensure completing the important assignments in prior. In addition, I have asked Mr. Asley, Senior Technical consultant, to look after my work, to which he agreed. It is my word to you, that the no work will suffer in my absence. I genuinely request you to please approve my leave.
