I work as a Technical Consultant in your company. I am writing to ask if you could allow me a leave for 5 days.
My father has been suffering from some critical health issues from the past few months and yesterday only, he got diagnosed from a major heart problem. I have to take him to hospital for proper checkups and treatment. Also, I won't be able to concentrate on work in such circumstances.
He will be admitted on 21st of August and most probably by 26th of August,Saturday, he will be discharged. I will rejoin from 28th of August. Therefore, it is a matter of 5 days for which I would not be present.
I ensure completing the important assignments in prior. In addition, I have asked Mr. Asley, Senior Technical consultant, to look after my work, to which he agreed. It is my word to you, that no work will suffer in my absence. I genuinely request you to please approve my leave.
