Dear sir,

I am writing this letter to your newspaper to protest flat development proposal by the local council on the park opposite to my residence.

To begin with, all the residents of this society area against this construction due to the several reason. Firstly, this is only the one park in the whole society and children used it as a playground and play several games here like cricket, hockey and football. Secondly, adults come here for jogging and exercising, which is pivotal for their health. Moreover, old age people like to come here to meet with their friend and feel relax. They like to spend quality time with their friends while enjoying the beauty of nature. It provides fresh air and reduces pollution in our community.

Therefore, we all have decided to protest this development by picketing on the main road on coming Monday. So, I want to you to convey this information through your newspaper to all the residents, in order to get the maximum support.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon.

Your sincererly,
Kirti
