Dear Sir,
I am writing to inform you that I ordered the anniversary cake on 12th October 2018 which was supposed to be delivered next day. However, Cake is yet to be delivered.
While ordering the cake from website, it was clearly mentioned that within one day, it will be delivered with extra charges of ten dollars. I placed the online order at 10:00 am one day before my anniversary, considering it will be delivered on next day i.e. 13th October 2018. I wanted to surprise my wife by presenting the cake to her but it all messed up by your unprofessional service. Moreover, I was embarrassed in small party too hosted by my wife where guests were curiously waiting for cake.
Since my special day got ruined by your unprofessional delivery, I do not need the cake now. Therefore, I ask for not only the cake price but also the penalty for not honoring the commitment. I request you to take a decision in this regard by next Friday and credit money in my bank account. I am enclosing the receipt for your verification.
