Many people prefer to shop at huge shopping malls as they get everything at a single place, whereas shopping from the local shops requires a multiple stops to different stores. I believe, big shopping centers provide lot of benefits, as it save time of an individual and also helps to rise the economy of the city by providing number of employment opportunities, needed to maintain the quality of the mall.
A major advantage of shopping at malls is one can buy varieties of products from one place. In today's fast pacing life, people do not have enough time to stop by different shops to collect various items in need. So, in order to save both time and energy supermarkets seems to be the perfect option. Apart from shopping opportunities, these big malls provides different entertainments options, such as theaters, gaming zones and cafeterias. Along with shopping, people can enjoy themselves by undertaking such entertaining activities too.
Other than all such entertaining stuffs, one more important thing these malls provide is, they help to boost up city's economy. This can be said, as malls this huge needs number of manpower to maintain it. For instance, lot of job opportunities like cleaning staff, store managers, shopkeepers, waiters and many such doors to working roles could be open.
On the other hand, due to closure of the local shops, the local community is getting affected. As these shopkeepers are running out of their business, it brings financial crisis to their community. However, to save their business, local stores should promote some offers and discounts in order to attract customers. Also, they can focus on the locally available goods and pull in the targeted customers to them.
In conclusion, supermalls provides many benefits in terms of saving time and energy of people. Also, it helps to provide employment to the people and help the city to rise economically. However, the local shop owners can save their business and can overcome from the negative side of these malls by providing discounts and promoting locally produced food items and products.
