I am writing to express my concern regarding the garbage collection issue. Bescaue most of the local residents' normal life were badly influenced by the fact that the garbage could not be collected in time.
Previously, our nice and clean community was like a garden, the workers collecting rubbish could drive the truck and dump the trash bins in front of every houses along the road every day. However, as the outbreak of the strike last month, they would not come in time, ususally it would take 3 or 4 days for their appearance.
As a result, all of my neighbors compalin about this issue which brought in many inconveniences. First, every family's out door trash bin was always full, children can not walk along the street due to the stingy smell which they can not bear of. Besides, some of them suffered from allergies diagonsed by doctor, which casued by the local polluted air from these rubbish.
As we know the strike is till on going, I kindly suggest that our local concil could discuss this issue with the worker union since our community takes the highest estate tax in our city, which the workers serve for, our daily life should not be affected by this strike.
