Write a letter to the manager of local council who is planning to pull down a historic building in your area due to lack of money to repair it. Expressing how unhappy you are and cover:
Why the building is important
What can be done with it in future
How to raise money for repairing it.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I writing to express my unhappiness with the council’s decision to demolish the local museum due to shortage of funds for its renovation.

First of all, the museum is proud of our locality and it connects us all to the history of founding fathers of our town. In addition, it is a great medium to encourage and teach young generation about the past and its importance, which they will never learn at school. There are so many beautiful stories surrounded to that place.

In future, some more antique pieces should be installed to attract more visitors, which eventually will generate more revenue for maintenance. Even some food stall can also be constructed to make it more happening place to visit on weekends. Consequently, it will raise money for itself in the future.

Instead of destroying the heritage site, locals can organize an event to raise money, which can be utilized for its restoration. Further, it can be made more sustainable by charging visitors’ entry fee as it is free of cost now. I am sure nobody would resist to pay minimal fee for a visit.

I look forward to hearing from you soon with some positive news.

Yours faithfully,
Sandip Ramani
