Write a letter to the Mayor, the head of a municipal government, complaining about a situation in which some adolescents let their dogs run wildly causing danger. Begin your letter as: Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to complain about some teenagers allowing their canines to dangerously roam free.
I frequent the city park on weekend. However, it is plagued with adolescents who set their dogs free to run around in a wild manner. This has caused incredible discomfort and panic among senior citizens and parent with young children who visit the park.
Dogs are ferocious in nature when they are not leashed. These dogs startle older people and sometimes accidentally hurt young children playing in the park. I understand that dogs enjoy playing with other dogs but they rile the other dogs that are being walked. Furthermore, these youngsters are unapologetic and rude about the nuisance caused.
These adolescents also allow these dogs to vandalize property and liter by knocking over trash cans. Additionally, these children do not pick up after the dogs which leave the park in an unhygienic state for other.
I request you to take strict action and enforce laws restricting this behaviour in public places.
Hoping for a quick and stern action.
Yours sincerely,
Praneet K Nadar
