I am constrained to write to you to highlight the issues that I am facing due to some small unintentional things that have been going on in your premises lately. Allow me to elaborate.
As you know, the house next door was lying vacant and it was a few days ago that I along with my wife as well as two children moved into this beautiful place that we now call our home. Let me introduce myself, I am a Social Worker, my wife works with HSBC Bank at 78th Street and my two children are in school. The younger one is 7 years of age and the elder one is 11 years of age.
The things have been going well for my family in the locality; however, my children are bothered by the placement of your dustbin which consists of wet waste. Some foul smell has been emanating from the said dustbin which has been a cumbersome problem to deal with for them. Their friends have started ignoring them and do not come to play with them anymore due to the foul smell.
I am sure that the issue is unintentional and can be resolved by identifying the nub of the issue. However, my wife and I are of the view that maybe you need to change the dustbin as it seems that the lid is broken and resultant of which the foul smell can escape from there. I hope that you will act on the advice and take prompt action. Further, I hope you will empathize with my situation and be welcoming towards your new neighbours.
