DEAR SIR OR MADAM,
I am writing to you for seeking information about a part time job. Allow me to elaborate.
I have recently landed in Los Angeles and attending school at UC, Berkley. I landed on a Student permit with allowance of 40 hours work a week. In addition, my father passed away 2 months ago and my mother is single bread earner in family. However, my mother has not jeopardized with my plans to study abroad and has sponsored me. As such, I do not want to cast any burden upon her and as such I am looking for a job.
I am looking for a part-time job with an option to work evening shifts after 6:00 PM as on Wednesday is a busy day at University. I am open to jobs at restaurant, bars and cafes etc.
Furthermore, I am a fun loving and an outgoing person with good communication skills. I don’t have much of work experience but I am willing to work hard to make up for it.
I hope to hear from you.
Yours faithfully,
Brad Jason
