Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing this letter to express regret for the distress that have you faced due to loud noises coming out from my home from past couple of days.
I would like to apprise you that, the loud sounds coming from my house were not created deliberately, these noise you heard was due to music played by my nephews at a very high volume. My sister and nephews have visited my house to spend their summer vacations. As I am in office, I was not aware of this issue, it only came into my cognizance after reading your letter.
I would like tell you I have made nephews understand that playing music loud and is not good for health as it disturbs everyone. To which they have affirmed positively and this will not repeat again. I again apologize for the inconvenience caused.
