Write a letter to a friend to ask for his/her help to collect money for a charity organization. The letter needs to cover the following details:
– Why do you want to collect money for the charity organization?
– Ask your friend to help.
– Explain in detail how your friend can help.
Dear Priya,
Hope you are doing great with your health and spirit. I am writing this letter in order to seek your support in collecting a fund of Rupees One lac for the old age home where I am giving my service as a volunteer since last two years.
Actually, "sandhya-kutir" old age home has 120 senior citizens under its shelter to take care of them without any reserve. Now, the trust who is running this facility wants to set up a small workshop for these people where they can make various artifacts and earn their livelihood to be independent. Hence, we are in a need of fund as mentioned above to buy instruments and machines.
As I am aware that You are working as an HR manager with a good corporate organization where you might have a budget provision under corporate social responsibility budget for this kind of charity. We are pleased to gift a beautiful sculpture of buddha made by them for the cabin of your CMD as a gratitude toward the donated amount. I would request you to take our proposal forward to your management as well as to the employees so that whoever will be interested in contributing, can come forward and contact us.
I hope you will find our proposal in a service of the humanity and you will extend your helping hand to realize this herculean task.
