Dear Sally Flannigan,
I am writing to let you know that I would be unable to resume lectures for my English class next week due to some domestic issues and challenges at work.
The nanny that assists with my six months old baby-Carissa, resigned without prior notice so I need to look after her, pending the time I get another replacement. Hopefully, I should get a new person within the next two weeks. Also, my organization has fixed the yearly strategic retreat for upper week, so my request to go ahead on my annual leave was declined by my supervisor temporarily. He advised me to apply again at the end of the programme.
Based on these challenges, I would like to post-pone my resumption till first week in April, to enable me resolve all issues at home and at work. This would enable me have full concentration at school, and perform optimally in class.
