You are due to start an English language course next week but you will not be able to because you have some problems.

Write a letter to the manager of the language school, Sally Flannigan. In your letter:

explain your situation

describe your problems

tell him/her when you think you can start.

Write at least 150 words.

Dear Sally Flannigan,

u

I am writing this letter to admit myself for not being able to attend your month-long english language course which is supposed to start on the 1st of November.

I am always keen on learning and mastering both written and verbal english especially for professional use. I have registered in your 4 week-long program for developing official use of this most widely used language. However, due to an unavoidable situation that has been encountered by my office, I will not be able to join. To be more precise, I have given a special assignment to arrange the annual conference which will be held on the 5th of the same month in Cox's Bazar. Moreover, I will have to lead the whole marketing team during the complete arrangement.

In this circumstance, I would like to apologize for my absence from your premises. In addition, it would be my pleasure if you allow me to join your upcoming lesson which will be started from mid-December.

Sorry for your inconvenience.

Sincerely yours,

A T M Jakir Alam
