You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,

1- Give details of your study plans.
2- Explain why you want to get a part-time job.
3- Suggest how your friend could help you find a job.

Dear John,

It`s been so long since we last met. I hope you and your family are all well! I`m writing to let you know that I will move to England, where you live, for completing my post graduate studies, and I request your assistance in finding me a part time job.

I have sent numerous applications to several universities for joining their programs of Project Management. When I received the approval from Oxford on my interest last month, I was really amazed and extremely happy. The program schedule is starting in September, and I must join with the morning lectures cohort, 3 days a week.

I have managed to arrange the required funds for the program fees; however, I do still need to source the living cost. London is known as an expensive city to live in. Therefore, I am thinking to have a part-time job at the free days of the program to be able secure my living expenses.

London has various multinational companies, and I assume that you have a good network connection in it. I would therefore suggest that you share my attached resume, and that you share it with your contacts to find me a suitable part-time job at any one.

Warm regards,

Ayoub
