It has been a while since we have been in touch. I finally decided to put the pen to paper and write to you about my studies.
On one hand, I am delighted to inform you that Harvard University has offered me an admission to their prestigious Business Management course. on the other, I must tell you that I only managed to secure a part scholarship for the tuition fee.
My family has offered to extend their support for the remaining tuition fee. However, considering the currency conversion rate in India and the USA, I plan to take on some part-time job to ease the burden on my family.
Performing well in my course is of paramount importance to me, after all I worked really hard to obtain a seat at Harvard.
I plan to spend all my time during the weekdays on studying hard and use the Sundays to complete the assignments. According to schedule Saturdays seem to be relatively free for most students. I plan to take on some job on Saturdays.
During your trip to India you had mentioned about how difficult it was for the employees in your company to find baby sitters, especially new mothers who return to their jobs after having a baby. I am good with children and love their innocence, curiosity, and playfulness. What better way to make money doing something that you enjoy. It would be great if you could check with your colleagues or post a notice on your group mailers about my availability to baby sit during the weekends.
