Dear Max,
How are you doing? Hope your trip to India coming along well. I'm just writting to update you on my stay at your place in Los Angles.
As you must have heard on the news, there was a thunderstorm that passed the city last week. Due to the heavy rain, part of the ceiling has developed a massive leakage and also thick cracks.
During the downpour, it's getting worse and the leakage is growing in size, which is weakening the foundation of the roof. Also, through these breakouts, the rain water is sweeping into the house and damaging the furniture in that area.
I appointed an inspection officer have a look and found out that the entire roof of the bedroom is very week now and needs to be changed completely. These repairs are required for safety concerns and need to be taken up as soon as possible. I have called the contractor tomorrow to understand the amount of work required and estimated cost.
Hope this doesn't affect your vacation mood too much. Don't worry, I will supervise this completely and make sure it is ready when you great back from your trip.
